Custom Fleet announces Reproductive Health Leave policy

In recent years, we’ve made some fantastic steps forward in supporting our crew with policies and benefits that promote diversity, equality, and inclusion – 2025 is no different.

We’re excited to announce our new Reproductive Health Leave policy, available to all of our crew, regardless of gender.

The hero image shows a close up of a man and a woman making the shape of a heart with their hands intertwined. Their lower arms, hands and parts of their torsos are visible only. The woman is wearing blue jeans and an orange sweater. The man is wearing blue jeans and a black and grey checked shirt.

The policy provides support for a range of reproductive health issues such as perimenopause/menopause, fertility treatments, menstrual pain/discomfort, prostate health and post-operative recovery.

We’d like to give a shoutout to our incredible ElevateHER group (as part of Intersection). This group hosted a panel discussion during Women’s Health Week in 2024 to openly discuss reproductive health including topics such as perimenopause, menopause, fertility treatment, endometriosis and adenomyosis to name a few.

This discussion increased awareness of the very real challenges being faced by our crew, and demonstrated the need for additional support to assist both men and women navigate reproductive health in the workplace.

The new Reproductive Health Leave policy supports five days paid leave annually for reproductive health-related matters, promotes flexibility, care, support options, and seeks to remove stigma around reproductive health.

This means we now have policies to support:

  • Pregnancy
  • Parental leave
  • Fertility care
  • Menstrual, perimenopause and menopause support
  • Gender affirmation care

We’ve also updated our gender-neutral parental leave policy to include superannuation at full pay for periods of paid and unpaid parental leave up to 52 weeks!

We’re very proud of the work we’re doing to deliver modern workplace policies that support our crew in all stages of their life.

We also hope this will pave the way for other organisations to consider similar inclusive, and equitable adjustments to their own policies and practices.
