Rentokil's vehicle disinfection service includes sanitisation misting of soft fabrics and carpet throughout vehicle interiors and disinfection of hard surfaces including common exterior touch points.

Enhancing hygiene within all fleets

Rentokil Technicians follow carefully assessed safety measures their safety and the safety of the general public is of paramount importance to us:

• Sanitisation of soft fabrics, carpets and headlinings with the use of misting equipment
• Disinfection of all touch points that include internal hard surfaces and external door handles with antibacterial, sanitising wipes
• Microfibre cloth used to remove any remaining residual

Service preparation and procedure

• Rentokil's Specialist Disinfection team will attend your site to carry out the treatment
• The vehicle is to be left in park and with the handbrake and ignition on
• Air Conditioning is turned on and set to mid-level heat
• Internal recycle option must be selected to ensure that all air conditioning ducts are flushed and disinfected
• Misting application times are calculated based off the cubic area of the vehicle
• The doors are then closed and air allowed to circulate for a period of 5 minutes
• Doors are opened and car ventilated
• Hard surface and touch point wipe down is completed
• Disposable seat cover is placed on Drivers seat to enable immediate use of the vehicle, additional seats can be covered if required.

What is sanitisation misting?

Extremely small droplets of a disinfectant settle on inaccessible areas to enable even dispersal and maximum coverage.
